17 years building at the intersection of law, business, and public life in Latin America. VP Corporate Affairs at Millicom/Tigo · Award-winning Podcast Host · Entrepreneur.

My name is Luis Enrique Cruz Asturias. I'm publicly known as "Veneno" — a nickname earned riding motorcycles at age 5, which today defines how I operate: fast, direct, and without excuses.
For 17 years I have built my career at the intersection of three worlds few people master simultaneously: corporate law, entrepreneurship, and public communication. This combination allows me to operate across boardrooms and television studios, courtrooms and international policy forums.
Today I serve as Vice President of Corporate Affairs at Millicom/Tigo, one of Latin America's largest telecom groups, while leading my law firm, co-founding a hemispheric business platform in Miami, and hosting an award-winning podcast.
I believe 21st century leaders must communicate with clarity, decide with boldness, and build trust across borders.
As VP at Millicom/Tigo and founder of Grupo Legal Integrado, I direct legal strategy, government relations, ESG and corporate communications across Latin America. 17 years advising local and international clients on corporate, civil, labor and IP law.
Founded companies across technology, consumer goods and financial services. Board member in energy, investment and innovation sectors. Co-founder of the Center for Latin America Convergence in Miami. 2015 mayoral candidate for Guatemala City — second place.
8 years as host and producer on Guatevisión and TV Azteca Guatemala. Creator of El Confesionario Con Veneno, winner of the 2025 Napolitan Victory Award in Washington D.C. — one of the most prestigious international honors in political communication.
Unfiltered conversations with Guatemala's and Latin America's most influential figures in politics, business, and public affairs. Direct, unflinching, and always saying what everyone is thinking.
